Questions owners ask me
My own answers, straight. Type your question in the box and the closest one pops up. Not here? I’ll answer it myself.
Getting started
What exactly do you do?
I build websites and the booking, quote and admin tools behind them, and I shoot the photos and video that go on them. I also get sites found on Google and in ChatGPT answers, and I post for clients on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
How do we get started?
Call me at (707) 339-9561, email eljordp@gmail.com, or use the form on the contact page. Tell me what you do, what you need and when you need it, and I’ll reply myself with a practical next step.
What happens after I reach out?
I read it myself and write back about the scope and the next step. Before any work starts, we agree on what you get, the timing and the cost.
How does a project go, start to finish?
We talk, then you get a quote with what you get, the timing and the cost. There’s a deposit to start, and bigger changes go to a preview link so you see them before they go live. The final payment is due when I deliver.
Can I hire you for just one thing?
Yes. A shoot, an edit, a website or a tool. Start with the job you need done, and if the work overlaps, like photos that should go on the site, we plan that part together.
What do you ask on the first call?
I want to know what the business does, how things run now and what keeps getting missed. For a site or a tool, I look at how a lead arrives, who answers it and where the details go, and I fix the part that costs you the most time first.
Can you help a business that hasn’t launched yet?
Yes. Prosperando’s Instagram had no posts at the end of August, and I put together its first nine. I also built Travelyt’s website, iPhone app and booking system, and the service hasn’t launched yet.
Can we work together if you’re not nearby?
Yes. For websites and tools I can work with you from anywhere. Cubic Ship’s counters are in eight states, and joon11ee rents cars in Miami, LA/OC and San Francisco. Shoots are in person, so for those, tell me where you are.
Do you guarantee results?
No. Results depend on the project, your input and the market, so I don’t promise specific revenue. What I can show you is what’s worked for my clients, like the crew jobs I’ve brought Pearls Farm Labor through their site and social media.
Businesses like mine
Is my business too small to work with you?
No. Small businesses are who I work with: a farm labor company, a print shop, an appliance repair business, a wheel shop and a music producer, to name a few. You deal with me directly.
Do you build sites for contractors and repair businesses?
Yes. Brian’s Appliance Repair is the closest example: a first screen that works like the side of his van, a call and text bar, a reviews page and a referral card, with requests going into Jobber.
Can you build a site for a musician or a creative business?
Yes. I built a beat store for a music producer, where his mix keeps playing as you browse, and a booking site for an Oakland music-video director.
Do you work with wineries and vineyards?
Yes, that’s a lot of my work. I shoot and post for Pearls Farm Labor, a Napa vineyard and orchard crew company, and I made the first posts for Prosperando, the Flores family’s wine brand.
I have more than one location. Can a site handle that?
Yes. cubicship.com covers Cubic Ship’s 15 counters in eight states, and you find the nearest one by ZIP code, city or your phone’s location.
Cost and quotes
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. There’s a deposit to start, and the final payment is due when I deliver. The deposit isn’t refundable, because it covers the first planning, design and build time.
What if I’m not happy with it?
Tell me, and I’ll work with you on revisions. The deposit isn’t refundable, since it covers the first planning, design and build time.
I have a small budget. Can you still help?
Tell me the budget and what you need most. You can hire me for one thing, so we start with the job that matters most.
What I need from you
What do you need from me for a website?
What the business does, how things run now and what keeps getting missed. If you already have photos or your logo file, tell me what’s ready.
What do you need from me for a shoot?
The location, the dates, what you need and where it’ll be used. We plan the shots around where they’ll be seen, like the website header, a careers page or a week of posts.
Do I have to write the words for my site?
No. You give me the facts about your business, I write the pages, and you check bigger changes on a preview link before they go live.
Do I need my own photos?
No. I can shoot them, or use real ones you already have. Brian’s site uses photos from his own jobs, and Pearls Farm Labor’s homepage plays R8 footage I shot.
How involved do I need to be?
You run the business and make the calls, and I run the online side. Brian runs his jobs and sends me what he wants changed, and I make the change. You don’t need to be technical, because I stay until your team runs it without me.
Ownership, domains and logins
Who owns the website when it’s done?
You do. The websites and tools I build for you are yours once they’re paid in full.
Will you show my project in your portfolio?
I may show the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing. If you need it kept private, tell me before we start and we put it in writing.
Can I resell the templates or tools you build for me?
The site and tools are yours to run your business once they’re paid in full. What you can’t do is resell the templates or tools to other businesses.
Changes after launch
Can I update the site myself?
If you want to, I can build that in. Miiir’s beats and prices run from his own admin, and PhatHead Productions’ featured videos come from his own studio page, so he swaps them himself.
Do you keep improving things after launch?
For the clients I run sites for, yes. When The Sticker Smith’s window film page got almost no visitors, the owner asked me to retire it, and I pointed its address at business signage. For Pearls Farm Labor I moved the posts from photo albums to reels of the work.
Fixing or redoing a site
Can you fix the site I already have?
Yes. Send me the link and tell me what’s not working. Pearls Farm Labor’s old site opened on a logo and one Contact Us button, and now it opens on drone footage of the work with the crew request one tap away.
My site looks bad on phones. Can you fix that?
Yes. Brian’s first screen shows his name, what he fixes, the town and his number, and once you scroll past the number a call and text bar stays on screen. On FW Wheels, the Text FW button and the shop’s number are on a phone’s first screen.
Will I lose my Google ranking if you redo my site?
When a page goes away, I point its old address somewhere useful, so old links still land on something. I did that when The Sticker Smith retired its window film page. I can’t promise a ranking, though.
Can I see before and after examples?
Yes. The Pearls Farm Labor, Cubic Ship, The Sticker Smith, joon11ee and FW Wheels pages each show the first screen before and after.
Platforms
What do you build websites with?
I build them custom, not off a template, and most of them run on Vercel.
Booking, quote and request forms
Can you add a booking or quote form to my site?
Yes, that’s where most of my work is now. The form asks for what your team needs to answer, so nobody’s chasing details, and it lands with the person who handles it.
Can the form ask questions specific to my business?
Yes. At Pearls Farm Labor a crew request arrives with the crop, acreage, location and timing filled in. On joon11ee, checking a car for your dates sends a request with the car and city already in it.
Where do the requests go when someone fills out the form?
To whoever handles them. Pearls Farm Labor has a private team view with crew requests and applicants in separate queues, The Sticker Smith answers quotes from its admin, and Brian’s requests go into Jobber.
Can customers send photos or files through my site?
Yes. On The Sticker Smith’s store, customers upload their art and approve a proof before anything prints. On Brian’s site, a button lets customers text him a photo of the appliance’s model plate.
Can customers see a price right away?
Yes. At The Sticker Smith you pick a format and see the price. On joon11ee every car shows its day rate for each city, and the starting price on the first screen comes from those rates, so nobody types it in by hand.
Do my customers need an account to request something?
Not if you don’t want them to. On cubicship.com a customer starts a shipment with no account and gets a request code, and staff confirm the price before payment at the counter.
Can you build a job application or careers page?
Yes. Pearls Farm Labor has a Spanish-first careers page where workers and foremen apply on their own path, separate from the crew requests growers send.
Can customers text my business from the site?
Yes. Each Text FW button on FW Wheels opens a text to the shop with a pre-filled message and a short fitment checklist. Brian’s site keeps a call and text bar on screen once you scroll past his number.
Admin tools and automation
What kind of custom tools do you build?
Customer records, scheduling, dashboards and tools that cut out duplicate work. The Sticker Smith runs its orders, inquiries, customer records, pricing, promos and referrals from an admin I built, with a plain-English work log for the owner.
Can you automate the repetitive stuff?
Yes, when it saves real time. I start by watching how a lead arrives, who answers it and where the details go, and I fix the part that costs the most time first.
Can you build training for new staff?
Yes. For Cubic Ship, an independent operator of DHL Express counters, I built a simulator where new counter staff practice realistic customer shipments and get graded field by field.
Can you set up promo codes and referral codes?
Yes. The Sticker Smith has promo codes, personal referral codes and a first-order discount that applies itself.
Can you connect my site to the software I already use?
Brian’s service requests go straight into Jobber, which he already used for his jobs. Tell me what you use and I’ll check whether it connects.
Will I know where my customers come from?
Yes. Each Pearls Farm Labor crew request records the pages the grower looked at and the link or campaign that sent them. The Sticker Smith has checkout tracking, and Brian’s QR card tags every visit with where it came from.
Google, ChatGPT and reviews
Can you help my business show up on Google?
Yes. For The Sticker Smith in Hayward I built pages for eight East Bay cities, matched its Google Business Profile to the site, and I check the rankings every week to see what moved.
Can you get my business to show up in ChatGPT?
That’s part of the search work I do for The Sticker Smith: a sitemap, fast product pages, and FAQ and local-business markup, so ChatGPT can read the store. The shop ranks on Google and comes up in ChatGPT answers, and search is how an order from Salesforce found it.
Can you set up my Google Business Profile?
Yes. I matched The Sticker Smith’s Google Business Profile to its site, so both say the same thing about the shop.
Can you help me get more Google reviews?
For Brian’s Appliance Repair I made a reviews page that asks customers for an honest Google review, plus an invitation on the home page. Both link to his Google profile, and nothing is offered for a review.
Can you help me get more referrals?
Brian’s site has a referral page customers can copy into a text, an email or a group post, plus a digital card with a QR code that tags every visit. People say who sent them when they call or book, so Brian can thank the right person.
How long until I show up on Google? Can you guarantee first page?
I can’t give you a date or promise a spot, because nobody controls Google’s ranking. What I do is the work that gets a shop found, then I check every week and show you what moved.
Has your search work actually brought in business?
Yes. A customer found The Sticker Smith through ChatGPT and ordered holographic stickers for pickup.
Social media
Do you manage social media for businesses?
Yes. I run Pearls Farm Labor’s Instagram, Facebook and TikTok: I shoot the work, edit it and post reels and carousels with captions in English and Spanish.
Has social media actually brought in work?
For Pearls Farm Labor, yes. I’ve brought them new crew jobs through the website and the social media I run for them. I don’t promise follower counts; what I watch is the requests that come in.
My Instagram is empty. Can you start it from scratch?
Yes. Prosperando’s Instagram had no posts at the end of August, and I put together its first nine, in English and Spanish, around my own bottle photos and the family’s archive.
Do you write the captions?
Yes. The posts I’ve made for Pearls Farm Labor and Prosperando have captions in English and Spanish.
What if my posts aren’t working?
Then we change the format. For Pearls Farm Labor I moved the effort from photo albums to reels of the work.
Photos, video and drone
What kind of photography do you do?
Business photography: the place, the crew, the work itself and the product. This fall that was night harvests, a crush and crews for Pearls Farm Labor, and wine bottles for Prosperando.
What camera do you use?
I shoot on a Canon R8 with a 28-70 f/2.8 zoom, day and night. I also fly a drone on Pearls Farm Labor shoots.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes. I grade them in Lightroom from the real pixels, so the crews, the labels and the place still look like themselves.
Are your photos real or generated?
The work photos are. The harvest and crush photos on this site were shot on the R8 for Pearls Farm Labor and graded in Lightroom from the real pixels.
Do you do product photos?
Yes. Prosperando’s first posts were built around my own photos of its wine bottles.
What kind of video do you make?
On-location video, reels for social and edits from footage you already have. For Pearls Farm Labor that’s night harvests and the crush, cut into short vertical clips.
Can you edit footage I already shot?
Yes. I handle the selection, color, pacing, captions and exports for the channels you use.
Do you make reels and TikToks? How long are they?
Yes. I post reels to Pearls Farm Labor’s Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and I keep them short and open them on the action. The Cabernet night pick runs 27 seconds.
Can you add subtitles or translate a video?
Yes. The Cabernet night pick is a crew update in Spanish, with English captions, from the last rows of a night harvest.
Shoots and travel area
Where are you based?
I can work with you from anywhere. For meetings and shoots in person, I’m around Napa and the Bay Area. I don’t list an address.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. I can meet in person around Napa and the Bay Area, or we can talk by phone.
Spanish and other languages
Can my website be in Spanish?
Yes. Pearls Farm Labor’s whole site is in English and Spanish, and the careers page is Spanish-first.
Can my site be in more than two languages?
Yes. cubicship.com runs in 18 languages, Arabic and Urdu included, reading right to left, and every language has its own link.
The work, client by client
What did you do for Cubic Ship?
Cubic Ship is an independent operator of 15 DHL Express counters in eight states, and I’ve done its sites and tools since February 2026. I rebuilt cubicship.com in 18 languages, and I made its counter translator and a training simulator for new counter staff.
Do you work for DHL?
No. Cubic Ship is an independent operator of DHL Express counters, and my work is for Cubic Ship, not for DHL corporate.
How does the counter finder on cubicship.com work?
You find the nearest of the 15 counters by ZIP code, city or your phone’s location. Then you can start a shipment request online with no account, and real customers send their requests through it.
What is Travelyt?
Travelyt is a checked-bag pickup service that hasn’t launched yet. The idea is to check your bags in from home, and I built its website, its iPhone app and the booking system behind them.
Can I book Travelyt? Where does it run, and what does it cost?
Not yet. Travelyt hasn’t launched, so I can’t share where it’ll run or what it’ll cost. Next is the launch checklist, and it has to be finished before the first real bag moves.
What did you build behind Travelyt?
The website, an iPhone app I published on the App Store in June 2026, and the pickup request system behind them. The service is planned around collecting bags at the door, weighing and sealing them, then handing them to the airline. None of it is in service yet, because Travelyt hasn’t launched.
What do you do for Pearls Farm Labor?
Since July 2026 I’ve been the media and web person for Pearls Farm Labor, a Napa vineyard and orchard crew company. I rebuilt pearlsfarminc.com in English and Spanish, shoot the work with the R8 and the drone, and post reels and carousels to their Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
What did your work bring Pearls Farm Labor?
I’ve brought Pearls Farm Labor new crew jobs through the website and the social media I run for them. Each crew request also records the pages the grower looked at and the link or campaign that sent them.
How does the Pearls crew request work?
Growers request a crew with the crop, acreage, location and timing, and workers and foremen apply on their own Spanish-first path. The R8 night-harvest footage on the homepage is mine, and Pearls credits me by name.
What did you do for Prosperando?
Prosperando is the Flores family’s wine brand. Its Instagram had no posts at the end of August, and I put together its first nine posts, in English and Spanish, built around my own bottle photos and the family’s archive.
Did you build Prosperando’s website?
No, the brand’s website is someone else’s build. My part is the posts and the photos.
What do you do for The Sticker Smith?
The Sticker Smith is a print shop in Hayward, and since February 2026 I’ve run its online side. I built tssprint.com from the first line, Press Print intro included, and I run the store, the quote forms, the shop’s admin and its search work.
Is it true search brought The Sticker Smith a Salesforce order?
Yes. I do the shop’s search work, so tssprint.com ranks on Google and comes up in ChatGPT answers, and search is how an order from Salesforce found it. The owner runs production; I run the online side.
How does The Sticker Smith’s store work?
You pick a format, see the price, upload your art and approve a proof before anything prints. Bigger jobs like signs, vehicle graphics, business print, events and packaging come in through quote forms the shop answers from its admin.
Do you print the stickers?
No. The owner decides the offers and runs production. I run the online side and change the site when the numbers say so.
What did you do for Brian’s Appliance Repair?
Brian fixes kitchen and laundry appliances at people’s homes in Vacaville, and I’ve worked with him since about August 2025. I built brianappliancerepair.com, then the lead capture, service information, customer intake, and the reviews and referral pages.
How does Brian’s site work for his customers?
The first screen works like the side of his van: his name, what he fixes, the town and his number. Each appliance opens to what Brian fixes on it and where to find the model plate, with buttons to call him or text him a photo of the plate.
What did you build for FW Wheels?
FW Wheels sells Aodhan, MFlow Racing and Vors wheels online. I built a 48-wheel catalog you shop by brand, with each wheel’s sizes, bolt patterns and finishes, and a way to text the shop about fitment before you buy.
What did you build for joon11ee?
joon11ee rents exotic cars in Miami, LA/OC and San Francisco. I built the site where people browse the fleet, check a car for their dates and send a request.
Can you build a rental or reservation site?
Yes. On joon11ee, checking a car for your dates sends a request with the car and city already filled in, and nobody pays to ask. Every car shows its day rate for each city it’s in.
What did you build for Miiir?
A beat store for a music producer. His mix keeps playing as you browse, and his beats and prices run from his own admin.
Did you make Miiir’s beats?
No, the beats are his. I built the site.
What did you build for PhatHead Productions?
A booking site for an Oakland music-video director: his packages, a booking request that fills itself in when you pick one, and the videos he picks himself.
Did you shoot PhatHead’s videos?
No, the videos are PhatHead’s. I built the site, the booking request and the spot where he swaps the featured videos himself.
Looking for one of my clients?
I want to ship a package or find a DHL counter
I’m a web designer, not a shipping company. I built cubicship.com for Cubic Ship, an independent operator of DHL Express counters, and you can find the nearest counter there by ZIP code or your location.
I need an appliance repaired
That’s Brian. I built his site, so go to brianappliancerepair.com to call, text or book.
I want to order stickers or labels
That’s The Sticker Smith, a print shop in Hayward. Order or ask for a quote on tssprint.com, the store I built and run.
I need a vineyard crew
That’s Pearls Farm Labor. Request a crew on pearlsfarminc.com, the site I run for them.
I’m looking for farm work or a job at Pearls Farm Labor
Apply on Pearls Farm Labor’s careers page. It’s Spanish-first, with separate applications for workers and for foremen.
I want to buy a beat from Miiir
Those are Miiir’s beats, not mine. You’ll find them on miiir.shop.
About me
Who are you?
I’m Jordan Lopez. I build websites and the tools that help businesses handle inquiries and organize daily work, and I shoot the photos and video that go on them. I started by building websites, and the work got more useful when I stopped treating the website as the whole product.
Is this an agency, or just you?
You work with me directly, not an account manager. When you write in, I read it myself.
Who have you worked with?
Cubic Ship, Pearls Farm Labor and Prosperando, The Sticker Smith, Brian’s Appliance Repair, joon11ee, FW Wheels, Miiir and PhatHead Productions, plus Travelyt, which hasn’t launched yet. It’s all on the Work page, with each one shown.
What results have you gotten for clients?
I’ve brought Pearls Farm Labor new crew jobs through their website and the social media I run for them. For The Sticker Smith, search is how an order from Salesforce found the shop.
Why should I hire you instead of an agency?
I photograph the place, build the site and the tools behind it, and you deal with me directly. I start with how your leads actually come in and fix what costs the most time first. If your problem needs a specialist outside my lane, I’ll say that early.
Contact and response time
Are you on Instagram?
I’m @jdlo on Instagram. For a project, a call or an email to eljordp@gmail.com is the surest way to reach me.
What should I put in the contact form?
A few lines about the business and what you need. For a website or tool, tell me the current process and what keeps getting missed; for a shoot or edit, the location, the dates and where it’ll be used.
Is this a chatbot?
These are my answers to the questions owners ask me most. If yours isn’t here, call me at (707) 339-9561 or email eljordp@gmail.com and I’ll answer it myself.
